BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA- American motoracers will ride with the Filipino motocross greats as Lanao del Norte hosts the second and fifth legs of the highly anticipated World Motocross 2011 Series. SEL-J Sports, the prime advocate for the rehabilitation of motocross in the Philippines, organized the racing series where the Philippines’ elite motocross riders will be joined by Jake BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA- American motoracers will ride with the Filipino motocross greats as Lanao del Norte hosts the second and fifth legs of the highly anticipated World Motocross 2011 Series.Locks, Tiger Lacey and Dennis Stapleton, international superstars of the American Motocross Association (AMA). SEL-J Sports President Jay Lacnit sponsored the three American riders in the recently held Las Vegas Super Cross. The two are coming to the country not only to join the Enersel Forte

Philippine National Motocross Series and World Motocross Series, but to conduct seminars in freestyle events.


The Motocross Series’ first leg, held in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo in April, is the first of four international races integrated into the 12-leg circuit whose grand finale will be in December at the world-class MCC racetrack, in Lanao Del Norte.


Lanao del Norte also hosted the first-ever international motocross in the country in December 2010. The province boasts of being the preferred venue of the extreme motorsport. The world-class dirt track is in an excellent location, with the expansive dirt track carved right in front of the MCC gran stand. Viewers are able to watch every twist, turn and crash of the racers from the comfortable vantage point of the spacious grandstand.


Lanao del Norte Governor Mohamad Khalid Dimaporois a rider himself. It is his dream to make the province known as the “The Motocross Capital of the Philippines,” a dream that has become true today. He has included motocross as a highlight in the “Araw ng Lanao del Norte” celebrations. This year, in celebration of the province’s 52nd Araw ng Lanao del Norte, it will again host the inte national motocross event along with other highlights like the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) game and a concert by Pilipinas Got Talent grand winner Jovit Baldivino.


The country’s legendary national riders, Glenn Aguilar, Jovie Saulog and Donark Yuzon, will still topbill the motocross event in June, organized by SEL-J Sports, an organization that promotes wellness as a key discipline for better health and for a more productive nation.
